The thing I hate most about NME.com...

guntrip [Edit] [Delete] 13:25, 10 May '05
... is their frankly irritating habit of listing which 'celebrities' have been seen at gigs. Best exemplified by this:

http://www.nme.com/news/112307.htm

"BRYAN FERRY, ASH, BLOC PARTY and HOPE OF THE STATES all turned out to see a triumphant show by Canadians THE ARCADE FIRE in LONDON last night"

What does that mean? How does it impact on the quality of the band AT ALL?

Sometimes, they're really ridiculous - the Coachella coverage mentioned Danny DeVito watching Coldplay. WOW, THAT'S ME IMPRESSED.
