Abrupt endings on albums

As in 'pretty much ending mid-note' type of abrupt.

Always drives me mad for some reason, Fevers and Mirrors by Bright Eyes and the new Fiery Furnaces album do it and it just sounds odd. I'm sure there are others if I can think of them

Though on Yanqui UXO by GY!BE it manages to be simultaneously irritating and brilliant.
