I'm currently reading England's Dreaming by Jon Savage, which is about the history of the Sex Pistols and Punk in general. It's brilliant, which got me thinking - what are the best music books?

I'd say that, Our Band Could be Your Life and Charles Cross's Kurt Cobain biography are my favourites.
