I remember there was another thread kind of recently about them, but has anyone got the dvd/cd package yet?
I've listened to the cd a few times today and just finished watching the dvd.
The cd has a few new tracks plus some old demos, a live track and even a remix?! The new songs are ok, along the lines of 'city by the light divided' and theres at least one song which had parts from some of the 5 demo tracks prior to 'city' that didnt make the album, but all in all it wouldn't appeal to a wide audience, much more a hardore fan purchase I suppose.
The dvd's really interesting, it has interviews with all the band plus their manager and then also various other producers, engineers as well as the A&R guy who signed them to island and the head of vitcory - these last two guys come across has huge arseholes, yet victory are the one who've put this release out? Quite strange, but a really enjoyable watch - with stuff from loads of old shows, even some of their first proper show in Geoffs basement.
It all made me a bit nostalgic reminding when I first got into them and how impportant they've been as a band.
