Music Social More…

Is there an easy way to prostitute your songwriting?

TheoGB [Edit] [Delete] 14:54, 6 November '07

Further to my post here: http://www.drownedinsound.com/articles/2566618#r2567083

Lots of artists in the genre called 'pop' seem to perform songs written by all kinds of people. Clearly whoever writes songs for Britney gets the big bucks but then doesn't have to be scrutinised by paparazzi every minute of their lives.

I'd be prepared to write some really bad James Blunt esque pieces of shit for other people to sing and make me money so I could actually do the music I want and stuff.

Is there any way to do this, though? How does one become a person who writes album filler tracks for the links of Blunty and Britney?
