The Pitchfork Challenge

kovacs [Edit] [Delete] 22:41, 17 May '05
Pitchfork. It sucks. The absolute peak of indie snobbery, reviews written in a way that, unless they had a ratings system, would leave the reader with no fucking clue as to whether it was a good review or a bad one. I hate it.

I challenge everyone with too much time on their hands to find a worse review than this (not sure whether to cut'n'paste this or link it... but I don't know how to hot link so this is gonna be annoying)

6.5 out of 10, in case you were wondering. The Weezer review was a recent example of their horrible reviewing style. Or alternatively, have Pitchfork ever done a decent, insightful review ever? Link it here, preferably in that funky blue text that all the cool kids use when they're linking...
