I'm pretty much just thinking out loud here. But I think this *could* work

People could list albums they've been meaning to buy, but just haven't ever got round to it. MAYBE then somebody might read that and have said album, but wouldn't mind parting with it in exchange for something THEY quite fancy getting their dirty mittens on

Or, people could just list stuff they'd be happy to send to somebody else in exchange for something. That might be easier, actually
