i'm part of an indie / alternative club night and we have a special opening on new years eve...we've all been discussing what song we think would be THE best to be played straight after the countdown to midnight and our answers vary a lot!

we're going along the lines of it has to be something most people know and something they can dance to. a little cheesey is ok!
