I'm really, really liking the Tired Irie EP but I'm not really feeling Foals. Whilst I really like how precise and dancey Tired Irie are, the same quality just leaves me a bit cold when I listen to Foals. It doesn't really make any sense I know, but is still the case.

Anyone have any other examples of this kind of double-standard? Of course no 2 bands are exactly the same and there are loads of cases where 1 band may be similar to another but you feel 1 of them is much better, but I'm just curious what other bands people have come across that on paper they should like but still don't for whatever reason
