Watched it out of morbid curioisity the last few weeks. The thing that confuzzles me most about is that save one band that were knocked out ages ago, I'd never heard of any of them. Considered that I follow music pretty discerningly (I'm on here, aren't I?) it struck me as pretty strange that I'd never even heard of, never mind heard, any of the bands?

Was anyone else aware of any of the acts before seeing the show?
