hello! i'm trying to record my giant isopod song at the moment, but i'm having problems! i've got a condensor mic that i've plugged into the microphone socket, but i can't hear anything i record on sound recorder.

i've turned all the levels up as far as they'll go and i can still barely hear it. WHAT CAN I DO?

note: speakers are turned on, the mic is turned on and i am actually making sound.
