my band needs to record something good and we're fed up with labels sitting on the fence not comitting to funding anything probably because Vertigo has told everyone we're rubbish after the demo we did for them at the start of the year wasn't particularly well performed or recorded.

So looks like we might have to stop being tight and shell out to do it ourselves!

We have a couple of people in mind we could do it with, and could probably record and mix about 6 songs in three days for around £300, so if anyone would like to suggest an easy going and talented engineer who we will be able to work with on mixing for around this ball park figure then please suggest away!
