I went to see the Pumpkins on Saturday in Dublin... and for all the wankery, self-indulgent jams and cover medleys, the awful aircraft-hangar venue (plus the crap sound that went with it) and the arguably over-mellow and badly paced setlist, I still loved it and the Pumpkins are the one and only band capable of inducing total fanboyism and blind adoration from me; I suppose it's hardwired into me from being obsessed with them for years as a teenager. I can actually relate to the viewpoint of people who loathe Corgan and the band, cause I guess there's a lot to dislike, but there's something about them that I keep coming back to. I've spent the last three hours watching Vieuphoria and listening to bootlegs of the latest tours; I'd forgotten what a shit-kicking live band they are.

My point? Em...

So what about that Foals album? That Yannis guy sure is a douche! Lol!
