I owe my love to these bands to John Peel (tribute-celebration-of-greatness-centric)

MrScagdenSir [Edit] [Delete] 21:02, 5 April '08

I was listening to Nina Nastasia in the car today and I was suddenly reminded of the fact that my love for her started with hearing a John Peel session. The same is true of Explosions in the Sky and Meanwhile, Back in Communist Russia.

I already loved Low, but hearing them on John Peel prompted me to go and see them live in Islington Chapel, which is one of the greatest gigs of my life.

What bands/artists etc do you love that you first heard through him?
