I forgot how absolutely amazing this record is until I just put it on. Autopilot is possibly the most perfect song ever written and it's making me grin from ear to ear in a way that music hasn't for a long time.

The critics spaffed over Songs For The Death, the hardcore fans can't stop telling you about the S/T, but in reality they're all just missing the point. Rated R is the best album QOTSA ever wrote, or ever will write by the looks of it. Accessible, fun, drony, pyschedelic and meandering aren't adjectives that often co-exist when describing music.

It's probably one of the best albums of the 'noughties' so far. And I think it's the most important album I ever bought.
