I'm picking up an eerie link between Drowned in Sound and Noel Gallagher...

DiS really doesn't like Noel. And somehow, every time he crops up in their news stories, the wordsmith geniuses at DiS HQ seem to work on some sort of template.

The template is focused around sarcasm, irony, and attempted wit to try and belittle Gallagher and his comments. This IS the case. Every. Single. Time.

But why do we hate Noel so much? Its because apparently, he's been peddling the same, tired formula for aaaaaages!

Hmmm. So I'm wondering. Is DiS' predictable, lazy, monotonous, samey journalism on Oasis some sort of intended irony? Ie. Noel can get away with not having any new ideas, and so can we!

Somehow... I'm not sure it is!
