Twee Indie: Patrick Wolf vs the Forces of Evil

oceanRain [Edit] [Delete] 01:53, 1 July '05
I like metal as much as the next fourteen year old...

Er, wait a minute. No. No, I don't.

But I ain't got nothing against it per se. Morons in scary masks just don't do it for me. But, for example, there are some very obvious metal elements to Catherine Wheel's Chrome, which I dearly do love. And if you broaden the genre to include hard rock like Zep, Icarus Line etc, then I'm on board! I gotta say, though, Megadeath is about as fucking stupid as stupid can get.

All this leather and studded belt stuff is making me long for a quiet sit down with Belle and Sebastian or something. (And I dunna even like B&S that much.)

Except for maybe Anal F and his various persona's (surely the trolls ain't organized!), you are a fan of indie's sweethearts. You secretly are dreaming of the day Patrick Wolf uses his violin bow for the forces of good, destroying bands of evil who still think KISS make-up is cool.

Twee Indie! Yer Favorites Please.
