I just purchased "I'm Wide Awake It's Morning" and I really like it especially "Road To Joy" what an amazing song.

If you look at my general music taste it seems quite random that I should like Bright Eyes and it's not just me this applies to.

This leads me to a couple of questions.

1) Do you like Bright Eyes and does it fit in with your general music taste?

2) Why do so many "indie people" like them/him.

-So good that he/they can be appreciated outside of people usual tastes?

-A way for "indie people" to appear more eclectic?

-Psychological reasons? You like Bright Eyes because people keep telling you how amazing they/he are/is.

I think it's a combination of the above, having said this I know I'm not fooling myself I genuinely like Bright Eyes.

Either that or just talk about anything to do with Bright Eyes, your choice.
