Hey amigos-

Largemarge wrote asking for details, and realy I don't have them.

The only show that is confirmed in Philly on June 27. There is also an Asbury Park show and a DC show in the works around that time span. After that, Europe for most of July, then a NYC show at the end of July. Dates/venues to be confirmed. I haven't spoken to Paul, so I personally don't know if he is going to the NYC show or not.

My heart sank when I saw "Butthole Surfers Reunion Show" for Philly on the Ween forum. It's not at all. Paul won't be there. There will be 10 kids on stage playing Butthole Surfers songs. Jeff, Teresa and I won't be playing the whole time, since these shows were the idea of the School of Rock folks, so their students will get plenty of stage time. Nobody is really sure how this is going to work. We have time to figure it out, I guess.

I'm doing it because it will be fun. I miss playing with Teresa and Jeff. I also miss Europe, so what the hell. I'm going to leave expectations at the door and just try to have a good time.

After that, who knows? I'd love to have all five of us play again (Teresa and Jeff!! fuck yes!). There is talk of playing a club date the week of ACL, but nothing is confirmed."

No Paul Leary and a backing band of kids from a rock school. Doesn't sound too promising!
