The greatest debut ever? I honestly can't think of anything that tops this.... the musical proficiency is incredible, the lyrics are cool, the atmosphere simply buzzes, and frankly there is not a moment on the album where it is any less than perfect.

Its not only musically great though - its had SUCH an influence on music from then on... first rock band to play CBGB...? Television!!

Can anyone think of a better debut? I dare ya.

Incidentally, I've had MM for about 5/6 years and never heard 'Adventure,' since I am simply terrified it will ruin my perfect vision of Television. should I get it? I've heard its pretty good, but comapred to Marquee Moon its a disappointment... though isn't most music?
