Great forgotten bands of the 90's: June of 44

There's always alot of talk on here about Slint but not many people seem to know this great band from around that time.

Born out of the ashes of Rodan, they were a well established part of the math rock scene at the time, and had links to many other exciting bands of the era.

Their debut album - Engine takes to water - was considered by some journalists to be better than Rusty.

They split in 2000, with some members forming Shipping News, who are going to this day.

Its only a fan page, but check them out. I recommend Sharks and Sailors:
