What I like about this, apart from imagining all the people who gloried in his Pigeon Detectives dismissal thinking "erm, hang on...", is there's absolutely no reason for it. None of the three bands spotlighted have new material out now or soon as far as I know. He's clearly written this for a bet about how many times he can get... well, a certain word (spoiler aversion) into a Guardian piece.
