The worst thing about QOTSA-style throwing stuff

wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 01:41, 17 June '08

is that the people are ultimate cowards.

They're taking advantage of the anonymity of a crowd. Its like people when you're wearing drainpipes and some funboy walks past with his bird, and then when he's passed you, he turns and shouts "queer!" in a busy town centre.

Only its worse in Josh Homme's case because he got something thrown at him. I'd have had him kicked out of the festival, fair enough, but Joshua's verbal attack reversed the roles. He became the moron and the other guy was laughing.

The fact he threw the bottle back at him was wrong in my opinion. I know you don't expect people to act so awfully but maybe drunken Miss-Behavin' should be expected at festivals.

The fans' taste in music was evidently in correlation with their taste in behaviour though.
