Tis that time -- when we summarily dismiss the pretty boy singer who gets all the glory. Time we acknowledge the guys and gals who're equally important (or nearly so) to the bands we love.

The Pixies were the Pixies cos of Kim Deal, yet it's Black Francis who gets the honorary name treatment. Ian McCulloch is the King of Cool but without Will Sergeant the Bunnymen might have sounded like...Mac's horribly average solo albums. The Libs are adored/hated for Pete and Carl but dammit, I am the only one who noticed their drummer (whatever his name is...hehe!) keeps their Brit pub rock thing from going completely berserk?! Would Nirvana have had Nevermind without Butch Vig? The list goes on and on!!
