I've been given the unenviable task for finding band(s) for a friends 21st birthday. a big event down in the country and the like.

luckily she doesn't conform to usual mediocrity of NME indie dance/rock, whatever thats meant to be, and wants a just a good dancey band. I jokingly suggested El Guincho as I knew he was playing down in the same area at Bestival that same weekend. Anyone ever think that he would take me up on the offer? i just feel its slightly unlikely. or failing that anyone know any good dance-able bands willing to play a 21st? i imagine they'd be handsomely paid.

i doubt i'd be able to find a good willing band but i least want to try.
