Any fans of this young lady? Singer / songwriter from Virginia via Canada (i think). I saw her at the Great Escape festival at about 1:30am after my band had played an absolute shocker of a gig earlier in the evening, and I'd just seen The Hold Steady and been very disappointed. I was on the verge of tears through sheer downheartedness when I sat down in the venue, and this had turned into almost tears of sheer delight after one song, truly one of the best things I've ever seen.

I keep walking into record shops, picking up her album, then putting it down in favour of spending £12 on food. You can't eat an album.

I'm against unauthorised free downloading at the best of times, but when it's someone so good who is released through a small indie label I can't bring myself to do it. But I need these albums!
