As I'm sure most of you are aware, Tim Hornsby, manager of Fibbers for 15 years, has constructed a new venue in what used to be Stonebow Snooker Club right next door to Fibbers.

The venue is 500 capacity and is an incredible underground lair perfect for gigs, Djs and clubnights. It is just what York has been crying out for! Check out the bands he has already booked:

Barfly, the corporation that owns Fibbers, has done everything it can to prevent The Duchess from opening. Operating only with its own interests in mind, and not those of the music community of York, it has pushed legal action so far that Tim has a Council hearing on 28th July.

It is of utmost importance that we show Tim and Michelle our support during this time and prove to the Council that York wants and needs this venue.
