The Dutchess and The Duke
Yep, they spelt their name wrong.... but, methinks that these will be a biggie in the coming months.
Album came out a few days ago.
"Kimberly Morrison is The Dutchess; Jesse Lortz is The Duke. Though they started making music together in 2002—collaborating on many different projects—the year 2007 saw The Dutchess And The Duke’s debut single release, “Mary” on Boom Boom Castle Records. Soon after they started recording their first long player for Hardly Art, huddled over an 8-track in the Bryan Standridge’s Magical Basement Studios in West Seattle. With this behind the reels, they recorded their debut album. They have been compared to “Between the Buttons”-era Stones, Dylan and Leonard Cohen."
