for two bad seats to see leonard cohen in a soul less venue?

Im really starting to get annoyed by these big shows charging SO much. 40 quid for bjork was stretching but at leasat i had a good view- £60 for the worst seats is daft. for a few dollars more i could just go see him at the big chill. Its not like he's playing in a 'special' or small venue or anything-

Whats the thoughts- are these new enormo deals (Lenny goes through AEG now, Jay Z signed to live nation with madonna...) the way 'big' artists are gonna go forever?
