a lot of my favourite bands come under this banner, and i was just wondering if i was missing any of the obvious/vitals, new music is always great, obvz.

some of my favs are Dinosaur Jr, Superchunk, Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, Husker Du, Teenage Fanclub, Pavement, Guided by Voices, Sparklehorse, the Lemonheads, Beat Happening, the Halo Benders, the Breeders, Beezewax, Eric's Trip, REM etc etc
