Hello you good people

I've listened to a bit of modern stuff from Africa...well, West Africa mainly, in recent weeks, and I've quite enjoyed some of it, especially Salif Keita - Moffou and Mory Kante - Sabou, and i'm just looking for recommendations. I don't want the really hyper, uber-happy stuff, I'm sure it's fantastic if you love uber-happy music but I'm looking for sort of, stuff with light and shade. Like that Salif Keita album.

So yeah, recommendations?
