Summer is usually very slow on good new records, and this year has been particularly poor ( sorry for the Cribs, Hard Fi, Dead 60s, Editors... fans ).
So it's a good season to buy things i had on tape since my youth ( like Josef K ) and discover things i ignored when they was released : The The ( thanks Marco ! ), the Sufjan Stevens back catalog ( thanks all his fans on DiS ) or Mahogany ( GREAT band ).
Case in point : Drunk.
This record was played in my record shop today, and i bought it immediately.
I don't know how to describe it : alt-country with a bit of folk and a bit of indie-pop maybe.
But it's great !
So, can the gentle people on DiS tell me :
1°) if they ( he ? ) are still going ( this was released in 1996 ! )
2°) how many records do i have to buy now ( there was 2 other albums in my record shop ).
