Was sent this album to review and, despite being initially suspicious due to some Arcade Fire comparisons, this is fucking brilliant.

Incredibly crunchy distortion sound with some Black Mountain esque riffs, cavernous reverb, vocals that occasionally come across like a more deranged Isaac Brook, a really eerie backwoods vibe to it all. I'm completely sold on it, the more I listen, the more brilliant I think it is. Stylistically it's completely scatter shot, kind of reminds me of a darker version of Blitzen Trapper's Wild Mountain Nation.
