I'm going to be in Nottingham on thursday and friday night next weekend (when Reading is on as it happens) and just need some on advice on where's good.

I've heard lots about the Rock City - is this good for a friday night?

I'm eager to avoid these crappy metal nights (i.e linkin park and papa roach and other such drivel).

Any recommendations for clubs, pubs bars etc please?
