So I was late last week, so this week I thought I'd bash this little fellow out a lil earlier!

This weeks album was choosen by good ol' tobythecat & is a damnsight more melodic then the previous album, so this weeks album is.....

Floating Worlds

Again I'm afraid I haven't heard this one before either so the description provided maybe a bit skewed as it's taken from online resources
(yea I know, I'm rubbish aren't I) and this is also based on one listen! The album is said to take a bit from everything employing traditional
sounds and harmonies with the odd influence of avant garde jazz based changes in time signatures and even the odd post rock freak out
but for the most part it's pretty organic music down to it's indie pop core with the simple gentle melodies and harmonies taking center
stage amongst a flourish of twinkling keys and chimes & I guess sounding like a band with all the intimacy of bands such as say
The Decemberists with the sort of cut and paste off beat approach of say Animal Collective.
