Rage Against The Machine have been raging literally for years. Has it got them anywhere? U2's Bono fratenises with world leaders and a host of stars get together for Live Aid but can music really affect the world's political agenda and make it a better place? Have there ever been any examples where a song or a musician's body of work has managed to change the world? I'm scratching my head with pessimism as I think politics in music is a waste of time. Am I wrong?
