i watched picnic at hanging rock for the first time the other day and the first thing that struck me was how similar the uniforms were to the one that pj harvey wears on the cover of the white chalk album.....i heard the album when it first came out and i rekon the music could definitly complement the film. (not sure lyrically, cant remember anything much but im sure there is stuff about the lost innocence of youth etc etc.)

so..anyway...has anyone else noticed this and is it just a concidence or has she ever mentioned the film as a reference/influence type thing
