i was watching some cheesey countdown on vh1 (the girlfriend was hogging the remote) and they played this song that i recognised, a good heart. its this cheesey 80s LA pop rock soul tune in the vein of the Crocadile Dundee soundtrack.
anyway, when i found out who it was by i was bufuddled for days on end.

the chorus basically goes

anyway, i'm telling y'all this because i want you to have the tune in your head. and i want to know how common the knowledge of the perpetrator of this is.
