I'm gonna buy a microphone, essentially to enable me to record reasonably lo-fi acoustic guitar / vocal stuff on an 8-track. I could just order an SM58, but is there anything cheaper that does the job just as well? Or anything cheaper that may not be as good but would do the job for what I wanted it for?
