According to Billboard MySpace is set to sign a deal with Interscope records which will see the 2 year old site become a major A&R resource for the label.

In exchange for 'hot new' bands, Interscope will provide marketing and distribution funding to MySpace. MySpace, of course, is currently the subject of a legal dispute Stateside between Rupert Murdoch's News Corp and Intermix media, MySpace's former owner.
