Been listening to this a fair bit of late. I love how quiet it is, I didn't know until recently that they recorded it as a band but then decided to release the demos instead. Makes the whole album feel so bleak and raw. And there's the nod to Suicide's Frankie Teardrop on State Trooper too.

This and Darkness On The Edge Of Town are definitely my favourite Springsteen records. How about you?
