Music Social More…

what do you write your music about?

m-dizzle [Edit] [Delete] 11:33, 8 December '08

If you write music, what process goes on that makes you want to write about something? I'm always really fascinated by people who pick out single moments in their life and make a masterpiece out of it. But then again, i'm sickened by indie idiots who claim to craft a 'song' based on something like the new jeans they wore at the club last night.

I'll get the ball rolling. Feel free to reference whatever you're saying with a link, always good to hear. It aint Jaging, it's being informed.

Lately, I tend to write about the things the newspapers give me. Things like war, morality, peace, twisted politics... and since the big crash, the worthlessness and fakeness of the economy... also, all psychedelic experiences i've encountered make me write alot about consciousness, our 'one-ness', and the spiritual side to our existence.
