it was pointed out to me recently that, if I wanted, I could tune my guitar to BAGDAD, and I suggested, to the amusement of those present, that my band could release an EP called "4 or 5 Magicians in BAGDAD" with uber-hilarious art work.

Have any wacky rockers already had this idea? Sounds like something NOFX would do.

What does a BAGDAD tuning actually sound like? I'm too scared to tune my guitar to it in case I break some of the strings - I can't afford to replace them right now. I guess in a perfect world it would be kind of arabic sounding. Shame there isn't an H note really, but then, I don't own a 7 string anyway. I'm not the guy from Korn.

Any other funny tunings we could have?
