I like Bright Like Neon Love and In Ghost Colours, but at the time I thought it wouldn't get much critical acclaim -

they seem to exhibit a typically antipodean unsubtlety of touch, where lyrics are kind of clunking and naff and the sound in general is quite samey, reliant on production for those hazy technicolour summerscapes (like on Unforgettable Season for example)

I often like these dancey/indie bands anyway so I'm down with it, i'm just surprised they don't get a harder time on here!
