My copy arrived today. Two tracks, 36 minutes. First impressions; very, very drone/noise based. Probably the most 'experimental' and wilfully abstract Boris record I've heard. First track starts out with some lovely atmospheric guitar parts a la Dronevil but then descends into a 13 minute feedback-saturated drone fest, with what sound like some Merzbow type electronics and a bunch of plate reverb swooshing over the top. Second track essentially sounds like about ten different guitar solos all tracked on top of one another and covered in treble...some more electronics in there too, I think, and some fairly off kilter drum work. Interesting, but will take a hell of a lot more time to get into.

Overall, doubt it'll become my favourite Boris record but enjoyable and interesting nonetheless. Would maybe have been nice to hear a little more of Kurihara's more conventional, melodic playing though, because he's a fucking wonderful guitarist.
