I was just wondering if anyone knew of (or if anyone is) a nice promoter in Leeds that might be interested in putting me on a gig of theirs? I'm based in York, and I play noisy electropop. Some people have called it folktronica. Others lofi electronica. I've been described as the aural equivalent of the TV series Spaced, as well.

Now, before you 'get all up in my grill' I have read the leedsmusicscene.net list of promoters. Most of them are dead links or dead promoters. The vast majority of those appear to be unsuitable for my music. And after all, there's nothing better than asking folks like your good selves for the inside scoop.

I spose this might be a good resource for others as well, so let's hear all the suggestions (preferably with venues and links/contact deets) please.
