DJing from a laptop

glasso [Edit] [Delete] 12:09, 26 December '08

I really want to start DJing, but I'm mega skint.

I'm not talking all that scratching nonsense and fancy stuff, but just kinda basic beat-matching and maybe some simple loops and stuff.

Is there a decent way I can do this without shelling out for CD decks? I've been looking at things like the Hercules console for the laptop, and the DJ-1800 thing (which I've downloaded as a demo, but won't let me play any songs I've downloaded from iTunes).

Is there a decent and relatively cheap way to DJ from my laptop, or am I gonna have to save up the pennies?
