Good places to buy vinyl, on-line and IRL

tape-hiss-orchid [Edit] [Delete] 01:45, 29 December '08

So I got a turntable and it's pretty much the best thing in my life, but I'm surviving on my Dad's old Roxy Music records, a copy of Transformer by Lou Reed and some Beatles 7"s I found. I live in Croydon so I've got Beanos which is still a pretty great place (rubbish for CDs, better for vinyl), but that's closing in a couple of months. At uni I live between Kings Cross and Farringdon-way, so I'm pretty central and don't mind a trek for a hidden gem of a music shop.

Any recommendations? I really want LPs to be honest, I bought some singles from vinylnet.com which was pretty useful, but I've never been much of a singles kinda guy and it's annoying having to change the record every 5 minutes.

Tanks.
