OK, I have to admit I might have been wrong about this album. Until recently I had it pegged as one of my disappointments of the year. But I#ve been going through all my 2008 albums recently and the more I listen to it, the more I'm liking it. Kim and Jessie does sound like the soundtrack to some rubbish 80s teen movie, but it kind of works. I don't suddenly think it's the best album of the year or anything, and I still prefer Dead Cities and Before the Dawn Heals Us, but I am warming to this album somewhat.

The final track is still a bit much though.
