I saw Stoney (another Sheffield band) at the Scala last night and they were really good. I'm surprised they're not receving the attention that all that cluster of bands are getting at present (Arctic Monkeys/Milburn/Harrisons/Bromheads Jacket).

Unfortunately the set went a bit Kasabian right at the end, but up til that point it was really nice melodic guitar stuff with oomph. If anyone liked Minuteman (not men) you'd like this guy, and he's got a lot more to him as well...
